Windows 7 Student Loft

Microsoft recently challenged us to introduce its student-only offerings to college students during the back-to-school timeframe. With the understanding that it was crucial to capture matriculating high school seniors who were off to college, we concepted the Student Loft, an aspirational environment that served as a technology showcase for Microsoft’s offering of unique laptops, desktops and phones.

Once we hit the ground running we created a 20-week, mute-city touring retail space made of equal parts pop-up retail space, technology test lab and hip hangout.

We kept it simple: lead with a visually intriguing Xbox stage, and pivot to PC demos. The nation-wide tour provides students a high touch retail experience while Microsoft completes its retail store expansion plans.
