LinkedIn Talent Connect: The Premier Show Around Hiring
For as long as LinkedIn has hosted its annual Talent Connect conference, we’ve been called in to make the experience more memorable. With the goals of facilitating attendees’ opportunities to network and create an experience that stands out, we’ve altered almost every touchpoint of this event. From an old- school view master conference invite, to specialized match lounges designed to foster meaningful connections among conference goers, to a series of exclusive, intimate 10-person dinners, attendees raved about the event.
The conference has grown over 3 times larger since its inception and is on track to bring some of the biggest brands in the world together again this year.

In year one, we had to set a high bar to grab attention as the conference had almost no word of mouth. While a recognizable and trusted brand, Talent Connect was not. We also had a fairly complex story to tell: the people, platform and data are what makes LinkedIn stand apart is the world’s premier professional social network. We branded a ViewMaster, and produced a photoshoot where LinkedIn’s Vice President of Global Talent explained the necessity of attending the event and the obvious benefits of doing so…through view master slides, naturally. As our target audience explored the very human approach, they were left with an impression that lasted – over 75% of the recipients signed on for early registration.
From branded poker chips encased in glass (break in case of emergency), to letterpressed data visualizations predicting the recipients likelihood of increased hiring efficiency after attending (naturally told through their personal LinkedIn data), Manifold continues to raise the bar for high impact conference creative for Talent Connect.
